1. Introduction

Vizion ("we", "our", "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

Anonymous Authentication: The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal login credentials. An anonymous user ID is generated automatically to manage your account.

Usage Data: We collect basic usage information including:

• Number of generations performed
• Token balance and purchase history
• Generation configuration preferences (resolution, duration, etc.)

Media Files (Including Images Containing Faces): When you use the Image to Video or Motion Transfer features, the images and videos you upload are sent to a third-party AI service (BytePlus ModelArk) for processing. These media files may contain faces or other biometric-like visual data. This data is used solely for generating the AI video you requested. We do not extract, analyze, store, or use face data for identification, authentication, or any other purpose beyond video generation.

Generated Content: Video URLs for generated content are stored in your account history to allow you to view and re-download your creations.

3. Data Shared with Third-Party AI Services

When you tap "Generate", the following data is sent to BytePlus ModelArk (our AI video generation provider) for processing:

• Text prompts you write describing the desired video
• Images you upload (which may contain faces, people, or other visual content)
• Videos you upload as motion references
• Generation settings (resolution, duration, aspect ratio)

This data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. BytePlus processes this data solely to generate the requested video and does not retain your uploaded media after processing is complete. BytePlus does not use your data for training AI models. See BytePlus's Privacy Policy for details.

As a fallback, Replicate may be used for video generation under the same conditions. See Replicate's Privacy Policy.

By using the generation feature, you consent to your uploaded media being sent to these third-party AI services for processing.

4. Face Data

Images you upload may contain faces. Here is how we handle face data:

• What we collect: We do not extract or collect face data separately. Images containing faces are processed as a whole by the AI service to generate video.
• How it is used: Face data within uploaded images is used only as part of the AI video generation process. We do not perform facial recognition, identification, or any biometric analysis.
• Third-party sharing: Uploaded images (which may contain faces) are sent to BytePlus ModelArk for AI processing. BytePlus does not retain, extract, or separately process face data.
• Storage: Uploaded images are temporarily held in memory during processing and are not permanently stored on any server. The generated output video may contain faces derived from the input images.
• Retention: Uploaded media is not retained after processing is complete. Generated video URLs are stored in your generation history until you delete them or uninstall the App.

5. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Biometric data or facial recognition data
• Location data
• Contacts or phone book data
• Browsing history outside the App
• Advertising identifiers

6. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the video generation service
• To send your uploaded media to third-party AI services for video generation
• To manage your tokens and subscription status
• To store your generation history
• To improve the App's performance and features

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, all of which provide equal or greater protection of user data:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, and Remote Config. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: In-app purchase and subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• BytePlus ModelArk: Primary AI video generation. Uploaded text prompts, images, and videos are sent to their API. Media is processed in real-time and not retained. Subject to BytePlus's Privacy Policy.
• Replicate: Fallback AI video generation. Same data handling as BytePlus. Subject to Replicate's Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

Your anonymous account data and generation history are retained as long as you use the App. Uploaded media (images, videos) are not stored after AI processing is complete. If the App is uninstalled, your locally cached data is deleted. Server-side data associated with your anonymous ID may be periodically cleaned up.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and secure API key management. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your generation history within the App
• Request deletion of your account data by contacting us
• Stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the App

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
